Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our Admin team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in an efficient way.
Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls in a friendly and helpful way
- Managing the clinicians' diaries booking appointments for new and returning patients
- Manage incoming correspondence, including emails from patients and new enquiries from our website
- Perform clerical duties such as accurate data entry, scanning of patient notes, raising and sending invoices to patients, processing payments and maintaining office supplies.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Support team of Osteopaths and the Practice Manager with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
Requirements
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative customer facing role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications. Training on our clinic booking system will be given.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
- A professional appearance and demeanour are essential for this role.
- Ideally the candidate should live in close proximity to the clinic due the nature of the role.
Hours
9.5 hours per week here at the Baldock clinic. Wednesday and Thursday 08:30 to 13.15
