At Stocks Hall Andrew Smith House we are looking for a genuinely caring and passionate person to lead our well-established WISH Activity Team in a temporary capacity to cover a period of maternity leave for approx. 12 months, with the position expected to begin in December.

You will be working with our committed staff to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Person centred care is at the core of what we do, allowing those we care for to flourish and our staff to feel immense satisfaction in their everyday duties. This will include some assistance with washing, bathing, toileting.

As the Activities Lead you will be responsible for the rota for the Activities team, organising daily activities and trips, and ensuring a range of catered enrichment is available to all residents.

Due to health and safety and other legal requirements (due to the nature of this role), applicants for this role will be over 18.

We provide full paid training (both online and classroom based), we ask that you have a genuine passion for caring for others, communicate well with your team and residents and most important of all have a good sense of humour Previous activities experience is desired but not essential.
