Job Summary:

The Regional Corporate & Public Sector Manager is responsible for fleet customer prospecting, sales and account development, to drive profitable sales and increase market share. This role requires close collaboration with fleet and salary sacrifice customers from corporate and public sector organisations, alongside leasing company representatives, dealerships, and other relevant partners to ensure maximum BYD market share and customer satisfaction.

2 Regions:

South West, South / East London

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Execute strategic plans for fleet sales, including achieving sales targets, market positioning and pricing recommendations to achieve sales targets, market share growth and profitability.
  2. Prospect and grow BYD's corporate database.
  3. Collaborate with fleet sales customers, retailers, and partners to establish and maintain sales and relationships, ensuring the availability and delivery of vehicles to meet customer needs and meeting customer expectations.
  4. Gather market information that is in the public domain and identify market trends, customer behaviour, and make recommendations for improvements, and for future marketing strategies and promotional activities.
  5. Ensure BYD vehicles are positioned correctly and competitively within corporate policies, applying fleet support as required within sign-off levels and preparing business cases as appropriate.
  6. Develop and implement sales support activities, such as promotional plans, marketing materials, and training, to support BYD retailers and partners in promotion and sales.
  7. Support customers, prospects and funders with promotional activity such as demonstrator vehicles, static and drive days, scheme launches, employee webinars and other sales activities
  8. Manage negotiation and signing of fleet sales contracts, ensuring contract terms comply with legal regulations and company policies in collaboration with fleet companies and partners.
  9. Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to meet the needs of fleet sales programmes and support retailer sales activities where required.
  10. Track and resolve customer and partner issues and complaints, and collaborate with relevant teams to address problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Qualifications and Role Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant industry experience will be considered.
  2. Proven experience in fleet sales within the automotive industry or related fields, with knowledge of the leasing and/or corporate sales industry sectors, regulations, and best practices.
  3. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and possess decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and strong negotiation skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.
  6. Strong team collaboration, with the capacity to work as part of the wider team to achieve common goals and effectively coordinate and communicate in cross-functional collaborations.
  7. Willingness to travel as required to conduct business meetings and negotiations with fleet companies and partners and attend industry events regularly, including overnight travel requirements at times.
  8. A self-starter, go-getter, target achiever with a can-do attitude
