Role Description

The Equipment Operator is a full-time, on-site role located in Eastside. The Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment to execute landscaping, facility maintenance, and snow/ice management tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating various types of heavy-duty equipment, conducting routine inspections, performing basic equipment maintenance, and working alongside the team to meet project deadlines. The role will also involve adhering to safety guidelines and collaborating with team members to ensure the quality and timely completion of all tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and other industrial machinery
  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
  • Understanding of facility maintenance and landscaping practices
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and handle physical tasks
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in equipment operation is a plus
  • Previous experience in commercial landscaping or property maintenance is an advantage
