Overview

Our client, a leading organisation in the aviation sector, is offering an exclusive
three-day Engineering Placement
designed to introduce university students to the world of aviation engineering and maintenance operations.

This short, immersive experience offers participants an opportunity to explore how large-scale engineering teams ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of a global airline's fleet. The programme combines hands-on learning, professional networking, and behind-the-scenes access to some of the most advanced aviation engineering facilities in the UK.

Placement Highlights

During the three-day experience, participants will:

  • Take part in
    interactive engineering projects
    that encourage innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork.
  • Shadow engineering professionals
    to gain first-hand insight into maintenance and technical operations.
  • Participate in
    exclusive behind-the-scenes tours
    , showcasing how complex engineering processes keep aircraft flight-ready.
  • Engage with engineers, graduates, and leaders to build valuable professional connections.
  • Receive lunch each day and reimbursement for travel expenses (up to £200 per person, excluding accommodation).

Who We're Looking For

  • Open to
    first- and second-year university students
    studying any discipline with a strong interest in engineering and aviation.
  • Passionate about technology, innovation, and understanding how complex systems operate.
  • Curious, motivated, and enthusiastic about exploring career opportunities within aviation engineering.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and engage with professionals.
