We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team. This vital role involves coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the safety and functionality of our housing facilities, contributing directly to our mission of supporting vulnerable communities in transitioning to independent living. The position is based in Nottingham and Mansfield, and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules for housing units and facilities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with management to plan for future maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning or management, preferably within social housing or community services.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, welding, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Supervising or leadership experience is desirable.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
