Sales & Project Manager – Alpen Signs (Leicester)

We are an established and fast-growing sign company based in Leicester, now recruiting for an experienced Sales & Project Manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, proactive, and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth by managing existing client relationships, securing new contracts, and overseeing projects from enquiry through to delivery.

Main Purpose:

To support the sales and marketing team in developing sales opportunities, delivering effective solutions for customers, and maximising turnover and margin across both new and established accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert new enquiries into long-term customers and expand our client base.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through proactive relationship management.
  • Respond to and follow up on leads promptly, using appropriate communication methods.
  • Plan and deliver persuasive proposals and tenders to secure new business.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships across all managed accounts.
  • Generate own leads through direct outreach and business development activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and update the CRM system regularly.
  • Keep up to date with competitor activity, market trends, and product knowledge.
  • Support the wider team with day-to-day sales and operational tasks.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven success in new business sales and account management, ideally within signage or a related trade.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking software.
  • Minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience (signage experience preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Remuneration & Details:

  • Competitive salary
  • Full-time (Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00)
  • Office-based (Leicester)
