An extremely busy and well-established Sign Company based in Leicester, Alpen Signs are now recruiting for an experienced "Machine Shop Operative (Sign Maker)" to join our busy production team. If you think you have what it takes, we would like to hear from you - what are you waiting for? **Job Summary**: - Assembling signage - Working with LED lights and wiring - Collating work for fitting teams - Wrapping signage for despatch to site - Taking delivery of parcels/materials following goods in procedure - Willingness to assist in other areas when required - Good housekeeping of department and equipment at all times - Health and safety awareness - In-house training as required **Person Specification & Requirements**: - Work on own initiative and as a part of a team - Good personality - Communication skills - Exceptional attention to detail - Working to tight deadlines whilst maintain high standards - Flexible approach to working hours - Working with hand tools - Working with materials such as paint/glue - Physically fit, some lifting is required - Experience preferred, but training will be given to a suitable applicant **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - On-site parking Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - Machine Shop Operative (Sign Making): 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
