Machine Shop Production Manager

Position SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Shop Production Manager who is responsible for the safe manufacture of high value components used in the manufacture of TH world class products which represents a broad diversity of manufacturing processes. The role is responsible for satisfying all safety, quality, and productivity requirements in the most cost-effective manner. This position requires significant initiative and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to develop, implement, and achieve ambitious stretch goals and have a proven track record of developing talent in their direct reports.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and communication to the Machine shop team to ensure understanding and attainment of performance objectives and monthly shipment plansMaintain operational focus, prioritize tactical plans, measure actual performance against plan, implement counter measures where appropriate and drive lean/continuous improvement initiativesManage direct reports; establish schedule, quality, and cost targets; delegate to direct reports or teams with direct reports to accomplish goalsWork with other managers to coordinate and align business operations and activities;
