Service Delivery Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our existing experienced team.
We are powered by brilliant people. Due to the growth of our organisation, we require a Service Delivery Manager, who is customer focused, metric driven and experienced in delivering IT infrastructure managed services to UK Defence customers. An effective leader, you will drive the delivery teams to deliver high value, cost effectively while maximizing use of a standard product set and compliant with ITIL processes.
This is a hybrid role working alongside our service community within SiXworks, you will orchestrate the multiple service management capabilities in an integrated operation, whilst nurturing the stakeholder relationships required to deliver business as usual activities alongside developing on contract growth.
Experience of ITIL service management, IT4IT and/or UK Defence Standards required. This role will require that you have experience and knowledge to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the transition of projects into managed service within the SiXworks Gate process, proactively supporting handover from project managers.
- Propose the planning, execution, and optimization of IT services to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
- Proactively identify and address potential service disruptions to minimize their impact on the business.
- Continually assess performance improvements with a view to delivering value for money to our customers, managing your budget and resources accordingly.
- Be metric driven, focussed on performance excellence and used to working with KPIs & SLAs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand service needs and ensure alignment with key risks, issues, dependencies and trade-offs which impact the Service delivery/outcomes.
- Communicate the Services' key benefits and features to the relevant audiences as part of regular good governance and feedback gathering.
- Ensure you are gathering timely Service feedback and be accountable for ensuring overall measurement of success is embedded into regular rituals, including customer meetings, user meetings and test regimes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the service delivery process to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the appropriate engineering teams for all operational aspect of performance, monitoring and improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of contractually obligated deliverables (CDRLs) to meet project milestones and customer expectations.
