Here's a chance to step into a key leadership position and shape the future of operations, building your career to the director level.

Take charge of major mechanical projects across the UK, managing everything from quotation to delivery. You'll have full control over the financial and technical aspects, giving you the freedom to make decisions that matter.

There's travel involved, with site visits and hands-on problem-solving when things don't go to plan. You'll lead engineers and technicians, mentoring them and sharing your knowledge while keeping an eye on operations that need your expertise.

Working closely with the MD, your input will help shape the future of the business and your career. As the current MD moves towards retirement, you'll step up into the next big leadership position, becoming a director.

What you do
  • Manage large-scale mechanical projects, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.
  • Oversee operations, improving systems and processes to increase profitability and efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, sharing your expertise and mentoring the next generation.
  • Collaborate with the MD, helping to shape the future of the business and your career progression.
What you'll need
  • A strong mechanical background, with experience in managing large-scale technical projects.
  • Commercial awareness, so you can spot if a job's heading for profit or pain.
  • Leadership skills, as you'll be mentoring and developing a team of engineers and technicians.
