As a Mental Health Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and empowering care within our supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalised support and recovery plans
- Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
- Facilitate skill-building sessions, one-to-one mentoring, and daily living support
- Assist with medication management in line with policy and training
- Promote mental and physical well-being through active engagement
- Collaborate with professionals, families, and support networks
- Maintain accurate records and participate in regular care reviews
- Advocate for service user rights, dignity, and personal choice
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic living environment
What We're Looking For
Essential
- At least 1 year of experience in mental health, social care, or a transferable healthcare environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding
- Right to live and work in the UK
Preferred
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Familiarity with working alongside vulnerable adults
Flexible Shifts
- Sleep-in / Waking Night Shifts: 6pm–8am
- Full-time, part-time, and flexible contracts available
