About the role
We are working with a fast-growing company to recruit a Tax Director to lead and simplify their multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction tax structure. This is a hands-on role with the chance to shape tax strategy across global markets including the UK, US, Europe and Asia.

You will manage a tax process team based in India and will need to appoint a Tax Manager in the UK, providing leadership, oversight and expertise across the tax function.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and rationalise complex multi-jurisdictional tax structures
  • Oversee R&D tax credits across multiple markets
  • Reduce reliance on external advisers and fees through in-house capabilities
  • Improve tax reserves, carve outs and statutory entity consolidation
  • Act as a strategic thinker while remaining hands-on when needed
  • Drive change and improvements to legacy structures in a fast-moving environment

Profile / experience required

  • Strong technical grounding, ideally from a professional practice background, with commercial in-house experience
  • Confident operating in a private equity-backed fast-moving business
  • Experienced in leading change and challenging entrenched structures
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
