We're proud of our relaxed lakeside atmosphere and are looking for a passionate, creative chef to join our growing team.

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Cook/Chef to join our Christmas team for the Winter season. You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, contributing ideas to seasonal menus, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring an excellent customer experience through every plate that leaves the pass.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Support the development of seasonal menus and daily specials
  • Ensure all food is presented and served to the highest standard
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment in line with food hygiene regulations
  • Manage stock levels, food orders, and minimise waste
  • Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Cook/Chef preferred (experience in café or casual dining preferred)
  • A genuine passion for food and creative flair in the kitchen
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene qualification desirable)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain high standards during busy periods
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and team spirit

PAY IS DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND THE OCCASSIONAL EVENING.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
