The Business of Football Network is looking for a
Social Media Account Manager
to support the growth of our digital platforms as we continue to expand our media output and industry presence.

This role is ideal for a
student or early-career professional
looking to gain hands-on experience managing real social media accounts within the football and sports business industry.

This is an
unpaid, volunteer role
, designed to provide experience, industry exposure, and professional development.

Role Description

  • Posting and scheduling content across TBOFN social media platforms
  • Monitoring and responding to comments and messages
  • Supporting content campaigns and launches
  • Managing content during busy periods (events, podcasts, live projects)
  • Collaborating with the wider content and editorial team

Qualities

  • Passion for football, sport, and digital media
  • Interest in building a career in social media or sports media
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable handling social platforms and basic scheduling tools
  • Willing to learn and grow within a fast-moving media environment

Previous experience is helpful but
not essential
