York, York City, United Kingdom Apatura Full time £30,000 - £50,000 per year

We do big things with a small (but growing) team

At Apatura, we develop the projects that powers clean energy and a thriving digital world: think battery storage and, data centres. It's complex, high impact work, and we're doing it with a small and highly talented team.

We're united by big ideas, bold ambitions, and a genuine sense of purpose. We move fast and we're not afraid to do things differently.

We're now hiring a Talent Partner to help us find the people who make that possible.

About the role

The Talent Partner is part of the People team and owns how we attract and select talent across Apatura. You'll work side by side with hiring managers to define what's needed, shape recruitment plans, and make sure every search runs smoothly.

You'll manage recruitment from first contact to final offer, keep processes sharp, and use insight to support good decisions. You'll also help refine how hiring fits within the wider People strategy so that it reflects our values and supports our growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with hiring managers and the People team to define hiring requirements and develop comprehensive talent acquisition plans.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring an excellent candidate experience from sourcing and shortlisting through to interviews, evaluation and offer negotiation.
  • Manage and optimise the LinkedIn Recruiter licence to source candidates directly and reduce reliance on external agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, and people team to create inclusive, values-based job descriptions and selection processes.
  • Develop recruitment tools including interview templates, manager guidelines and training on interview techniques.
  • Use data and metrics to assess recruitment effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external recruitment partners and agencies where appropriate.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on hiring progress, market trends, and talent opportunities.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and help strengthen Apatura as an employer of choice.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within an SME and scaling organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of the business.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, recruitment tools, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and make recommendations.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach with a passion for people and culture.

What we offer

  • Private medical care with Bupa (household included)
  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • EV salary sacrifice scheme + cycle-to-work scheme
  • 30 days of leave including Bank Holidays + extra leave over the holidays
  • Access to free, confidential counselling and other wellbeing resources through our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Life assurance scheme at 6x salary
