So if you join us you’ll not only be working on exciting client challenges you’ll also be helping us shape the future of accounting.The RoleThe Head of Learning Performance and Talent is responsible for designing implementing and overseeing programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of employees. The role holder will also lead on the design of talent and performance initiatives to ensure continuous learning performance development and employee engagement that enhances our growth aids employee retention and is aligned to regulatory and professional standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent ManagementWith the CPO develop and deliver a practical scalable Talent Strategy suited to a mid-tier environment.Lead structured talent reviews succession planning and pipeline development.Identify current and emerging skills gaps across service lines.Oversee early careers programmes including graduates and apprentices.Ensure fair and inclusive talent processes across offices.Maintain the organisational behavioural framework and keep live. Embed in ways of working performance assessment and development frameworksLearning & DevelopmentCreate a firmwide learning curriculum covering technical training and soft-skillsManage relationships with training partners and professional bodiesBuild a blended learning offer including virtual classroom and coachingDrive leadership development for managers directors and future partnersIntroduce evaluation methods to measure learning effectivenessOversee LMS use and learning technologiesPerformance ManagementRefine and embed a simple transparent performance management framework that is forward (rather than backward) focusedLead objective-setting and review cycles and associated supporting guidanceEquip managers to deliver effective feedback and development conversationsUse performance data to inform reward and promotion decisionsEnsure consistency across service lines and officesLeadership & Stakeholder EngagementAct as a credible adviser to Partners and senior leadersLead and develop a small high-performing talent and L&D teamCollaborate with HR and Recruitment teams for integrated people strategiesProvide reporting and insight to the Management BoardManage budgets for talent learning and performance programmesQualifications Knowledge & ExperienceEssentialExtensive experience in Talent Learning or Organisational Development (OD) within professional servicesKnowledge of qualifications like ICAEW ACCA CTA and AATAbility to design scalable talent solutions for multi-site organisations and implement performance management frameworksStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills along with experience managing small teamsProficient in instructional design creating career paths and conducting needs analysisFamiliar with AI-driven learning solutions and skilled in consulting with senior leadership on talent developmentExcellent facilitation skills for delivering learning interventionsDesirableCoaching qualification or leadership development experienceQualified in development and assessment toolsExperience implementing LMS or talent systemsBackground in a mid-tier or regional accountancy practiceYour Career with GravitaWhen you join Gravita we support you on your own growth journey.
