UK-based (national and occasional international travel required)Salary: Competitive + BenefitsIndustry: Engineering / EPC / Renewable Energy / Subsea / CivilAbout the RoleThe leading engineering organisation is seeking a Head of Projects to lead a high-performing project management function delivering complex, multi-disciplinary EPC and design & build projects. This pivotal role will drive delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction across a diverse project portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Project Management team, setting clear objectives and driving a strong delivery culture.Oversee the full EPC project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Maintain oversight of live projects and report performance to senior management.Ensure robust project governance, including cost tracking, scheduling, forecasting, and gate reviews.Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.Collaborate across functions - Engineering, Construction, SCM, SHEQ, Finance - to ensure seamless project delivery.Support bid and proposal activities, ensuring smooth handover from sales to execution.Monitor KPIs and implement early interventions where performance issues arise.Skills & Experience RequiredProven track record managing EPC or complex design & build projects in sectors such as renewables, subsea, oil & gas, or defence.Strong leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams.Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).Commercially astute, with experience in contract negotiation and improving project financial performance.Strong knowledge of project controls, risk management, scheduling (preferably P6), and cost forecasting.Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.Why JoinOpportunity to lead complex, high-value EPC projects with a growing and respected engineering organisation.Collaborative and forward-thinking culture focused on innovation and delivery excellence. xpwpeyx Competitive salary and benefits package.#J-18808-Ljbffr
