Our service provides asset managers with an end-to-end managed solution for LP transfers, driven by senior funds lawyers and backed by cutting-edge technology.RoleFunds Lawyer to manage the day-to-day LP transfer workflows for our clients. This role is ideal for a legal professional with experience in funds law who is looking to specialise in managing the intricacies of LP transfer work as well as take on responsibility for supervising juniors and building client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with clients directly, providing a full deal review and expert legal advice, ensuring all transfer processes align with client playbooks.Prepare LP transfer documents, including transfer agreements and subscription documents.Conduct negotiations based on client playbooks and escalate any issues to the client as needed.Escalate and resolve any issues or flags during the transfer process.Collaborate with the MD - LP Transfers to support day-to-day supervision, training and mentoring junior team members (e.g. Paralegals or more junior lawyers).Collaborate with our technology team to help innovate and utilise AI-driven workflow tools in your legal work.Assist our Growth team with new client pitches when required.Requirements5+ PQE with experience in closed-ended funds and LP transfers.Qualified in England & Wales or US.Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Strong communication skills and client-focused approach.Benefits25 days holiday + UK Bank Holidays + 1 Day off for your birthdayRemote first (anywhere in the UK) or choose to work from our London Bridge office whenever you wish.Private healthcare or the option to use the budget to be reimbursed for other wellness activities of your choiceAnnual subscription to Calm or HeadspaceEarly finish Fridays in the summerPension scheme (enhanced after 1 year of service)Enhanced family-friendly policies after 1 yearAVANTIA LAW - CORE VALUESWe empower our people: We give them a voice, the freedom to grow, and the support they need to succeed.We champion excellence: We stand by our commitments, delivering results and building trust through actions. xpwpeyx We are building the future: We redefine the legal landscape through innovation and listening to clients.
