ResponsibilitiesBelow covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Lead and drive all activities for our Sales Engineering teamPartner closely with sales management to meet the company’s business objectivesRecruit, develop, improve, and maintain the Sales Engineering organization and processesPlan and manage team resources, ensuring efficient deployment to support a broad range of customer and partner needsUnderstand and communicate technical issues and enhancement requests from customers back to technical support, product management and engineeringPerform strategic win/loss analysis to optimize sales execution and drive product improvementsProvide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirementsWork with stakeholders to align Sales Engineering with A10 Networks strategic visionApply sales skills along with technical knowledge to effectively close salesEnsure the Systems Engineering team is enabled to support all required A10 Networks products and solutions, including required sales/soft skillsProvide technical leadership and knowledge to the sales organizationProactively engage with Sales Leadership to create close alignment and develop technical tools/programs to support sales campaigns and initiativesRequirementsBS in a computer‑related field or equivalent industry experience outside of managementMinimum five (5) years Sales Engineer Management or technical leadership experienceDemonstrates the characteristics of a technical leaderAbility to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of business leaders and audience sizesAbility to travel up to 75% of the time for customer meetings, tradeshows, and internal business meetingsExperience with SalesforceTo Be Successful, You’ll NeedAn ability to work in a fast‑paced environmentTo be a systems thinker who plans strategically while delivering tactical resultsA highly collaborative, customer and channel focusStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong xpwpeyx leadership skills; ability to influence across a highly technical community of SEsMust exhibit solid critical thinking and decision‑making abilities that result in daily impact on salesAbility to build influential relationships with customers, channels, and internal stakeholders such as Marketing and EngineeringUnderstanding of UdemySeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesSoftware DevelopmentLocation: Bracknell, England, United Kingdom
