They play a critical role in shaping our vision, ensuring strong governance, and providing strategic leadership. Trustees hold accountability for the Trust’s performance, uphold the quality of education, and ensure public funds are used appropriately.As a Trustee, you will:Provide strategic oversight and support to the Executive TeamChallenge and contribute to key decisionsUphold our values and missionChampion diversity and inclusionWe’re seeking individuals with senior‑level expertise and a deep commitment to education. Experience in any of the following areas is particularly welcomed:Employment law / Strategic HR / Diversity, Equity and InclusionStrategic financial planningSafeguarding, SEND, or Children’s ServicesExecutive leadership in a MAT environmentPublic sector knowledge, including project management or transformationRegulatory or governance experienceYou don’t need prior board experience — integrity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
