Job ID: 3136409 | AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch)Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.As the Head of Startup Sales for AWS in France, you will play a pivotal role in helping the region’s most innovative and high‑potential startups scale, succeed, and transform using the AWS platform. This role is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end sales strategy, planning, and go‑to‑market execution for the startup business across France. You will drive revenue growth, increase AWS adoption, and expand market adoption, while managing a high‑performing sales team and working cross‑functionally with business development, marketing, partners, solutions architecture, and service teams.We’re looking for a growth‑oriented sales leader with deep cloud domain expertise and a strong understanding of the startup market. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in technology sales leadership, the ability to connect to the technical needs of founders, C‑level executives, VCs/ Investors and the strategic thinking to convert complex, ambiguous problems into actionable, data‑driven initiatives. A passion for customer success, programmatic thinking, and crafting business narratives is essential.Key job responsibilitiesLead annual business and go-to-market planning for the Startup business segment, including developing mature cross-functional engagement mechanisms for planning and execution, with a deep focus on sales strategy to respond to local customer needs.Engage with customers to educate, accelerate and grow their use of the AWS cloud to support their business outcomes.Drive business growth, meeting or exceeding revenue targets, opportunity creation and progression, acquisition and growth goals.Develop and mature mechanisms to deeply understand local Startup customer needs, gaps, and opportunities.Leading and building a culture of sales excellence, including skills in coaching and developing high performance sales teams and exemplifying Amazon's Leadership Principles.Basic QualificationsExtensive technology related sales, business development or equivalent experiencePractical experience directly selling software products or technology services, and coaching sales reps and to do the samePeople management experienceExperience in a technology Start-up or experience working with Start-ups or other fast moving businessesFluency in both French and EnglishPreferred QualificationsFluency in French.Well-networked in Start-up Communities in France, with the ability to leverage relationships to expand AWS’ footprint in this customer base.Executive experience at a venture-backed Start-up.Amazon est un employeur engagé pour l'égalité des chances.
