Barts Health NHS Trust is looking for two full‑time consultants to join our Older People’s Services (OPS) team, based mainly at Whipps Cross Hospital.Job SummaryThese posts offer an exciting opportunity to develop new models of working and services that support all older people attending the hospital and the local community. Whipps Cross Hospital serves a population with a high degree of frailty and is being developed into a centre for Geriatric medicine.Job ResponsibilitiesAs part of the development of Whipps Cross as a centre for frailty, the hospital became a centre of excellence for fragility fracture care in 2021, expanding the workforce to revolutionise care for orthopaedic patients with fragility fractures.
