As a Principal Commercial Officer, you’ll contribute to both winning new business and ensuring the smooth delivery of existing contracts.Key Responsibilities:Lead or support bid activity, including proposal development and internal coordinationManage live contracts across their full lifecycle—changes, compliance, issues and documentationSupport negotiations with customers, suppliers and industry partnersBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customersRepresent the commercial function in reviews, progress meetings and customer engagementsProvide clear reporting on your portfolio to senior managementMaintain commercial systems, records and best practice processesWork effectively under pressure and to deadlinesRequirements:Strong negotiation capability and confident communication skillsExperience handling complex or high-value contractsGood understanding of contract law, liabilities and risk managementAbility to draft and amend terms and conditionsKnowledge of IP protection and awareness of export/import controlsFamiliarity with pricing and costing modelsStrong process management and ability to drive changeEffective team player with the ability to influence stakeholdersGood IT skills, including SAP and standard business toolsWhat’s on offer:Competitive salary and performance based bonus.Competitive pension and comprehensive benefits package.Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.Enhanced parental and family leave options.Excellent site facilities including subsidised meals and free parking.Seniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering, Business Development, and SalesIndustries: Defense and Space Manufacturing, Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, and Engineering Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
