Job Description Our client is a leading name within the Water hygiene / Water Treatment/ legionella industry and due to an increase of workload are looking to recruit a hardworking and conscientious Water Hygiene Engineer, based in and around the Dartford area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the water hygiene / water treatment / legionella industry and have experience undertaking routine temperature monitoring, water sampling, cleaning and chlorination, as well as building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and customers. Candidates from Barking, Romford, Bromley and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration. Qualifications & Experience Must come from a water hygiene / legionella chemical and technical background. Must be up to date with the ACOP L8 guidelines. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Ideally hold hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties to a mixed range of sites. Role Monitoring clients air and water systems and ensuring they comply with the current health and safety legislations. Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers. Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysis of eater systems. Undertaking disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, replacing tanks and flushing systems. Undertaking maintenance and installation of dosing systems. Collecting data and producing reports. Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and customers. Overall the successful applicant will be hardworking and flexible demonstrating the ability to work independently to agreed timescales and must be prepared to travel to designated sites as per client’s requirements.
