R M Design & Engineering Ltd is a fast-growing design and engineering company based in Southam, Warwickshire.
We specialise in delivering high-quality tooling solutions and exceptional customer service — trusted by leading automotive manufacturers and major industry clients.

We’re expanding and looking for a motivated Technical Sales Administrator to join our friendly, hands-on team.

The Role

As a Technical Sales Administrator, you’ll play an important part in our quoting and sales process while learning about all areas of the business.
You’ll be involved in cost estimation, sales administration, and market research, working closely with our Managing Director and engineering team.

What you’ll do:

* Analyse CAD data and prepare accurate, competitive quotes

* Follow up quotations and support sales negotiations

* Manage and update customer information in our CRM system

* Make warm calls to arrange meetings and confirm appointments

* Research market trends and identify potential leads and opportunities

What We’re Looking For

We’ll provide training, but you should be eager to learn and ready to take ownership of your work.

Essential skills:

* Confident communicator (written & verbal)

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Familiar with CAD software

* Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Organised, reliable, and proactive

* Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Desired:

* HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering (or similar)

* Prior experience in a manufacturing or sales support role

Hours & Benefits

* Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

* 30-minute lunch + two paid 15-minute breaks

* Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
