Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for winning new business? Do you thrive on developing fresh opportunities and building long-term partnerships? We're recruiting an Business Development Manager for a leading foodservice supplier, covering the Lake District. This role is perfect for someone who loves being out in the field, opening doors, and growing a territory through proactive, strategic new business development. In this fast-paced, autonomous role, around 80% of your focus will be on generating new business, with the remaining 20% on nurturing and developing existing accounts. Responsibilities Win new business Strengthen relationships with current customers, ensuring exceptional service and retention. Maintain accurate reporting, ensuring KPIs such as call rate, pipeline activity, and new business wins are met. A results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in new business development. Qualifications Proven ability to exceed targets and grow a territory from both new and existing customers. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
