Job Summary This is a salaried GP role based at a coastal practice, requiring 6‑8 sessions per week, with a manageable workload, flexible working options, and strong clinical and administrative support. Job responsibilities Job Overview: A GP diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide range of health conditions, providing ongoing and preventive care and referring when necessary. Conduct physical exams and health assessments. Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, and injuries. Prescribe medications and treatments. Provide preventive care and health education. Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or hypertension. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Maintain detailed patient records. Refer patients to specialists or hospital care as needed. Offer mental health support and lifestyle advice. Skills & qualifications Medical degree and completion of GP specialty training. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem‑solving and diagnostic ability. Compassionate and patient‑focused approach. Person specification Essential qualifications GMC registration with no restrictions.
