Plastic Surgery Clinical Assistant Responsibilities Assisting in providing plastic surgical services to the Trust Examining and clerking in patients prior to both elective and emergency procedures Supporting the plastic surgery ward round each morning Monday - Friday Taking responsibility for inpatient care on the ward alongside the Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Completing discharge summaries and request forms for investigation Supporting a 1 in 7 SHO level day and night-time on-call rota Active involvement and participation in the clinical audit programme Delivery of emergency care in the Hand Assessment Unit Supporting the operating teams in theatre and treatment rooms.University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust, rated as good by the Care Quality Commission, is one of the largest teaching Trusts in the UK.
