Keoghs are seeking a Claims Handler (CH2) to join their Liverpool team. The claims handler will manage a caseload of pre‑litigated and low‑value pre‑litigated motor claims for our corporate clients. Key Accountabilities Effectively manage a caseload of pre‑litigated motor claims up to £25k, including high‑value/complex matters from inception to settlement. Identify cases for early litigation with high prospects and low risk. Support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity. Work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service. Input accurate data and ensure data maintenance. Interact and communicate with clients. Mentor, train and act as the technical referral point for other team members. Working Hours 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9 am–5 pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location is Liverpool. This is a hybrid role: 1 day in the office and 4 days from home. Experience, Skills and Qualifications ULR RTA handling experience of pre‑litigated matters is essential; litigation knowledge desirable. Full claim cycle experience, from initial quantum assessment to liability investigation and settlement negotiation. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and email. Customer service experience. Excellent attention to detail. Negotiation skills. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to mentor and support new starters. Desirable Litigation claims handling.
