This role might be for you We are looking for two Fire Safety Inspectors to join our dedicated Protection team.Fire Safety InspectorVarious Locations within Nottinghamshire37 hours (Monday–Friday)Fixed-term contract of 24 monthsCareer Graded Post: Grade 4 – 5 £30,559 - £36,124Please note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKThe role of the Protection team is to direct its inspection and enforcement activities to premises that pose the greatest risk to life, property and the environment.As a competent Fire Safety Inspector, you will form part of a team carrying out inspections within a wide range of premises to regulate and enforce statutory fire safety legislation, provide fire safety advice, and evaluate fire safety design submissions.If you are a team player with a strong ability to communicate and a drive to make your community a safer place for everyone, then please apply belowKey ResponsibilitiesTo undertake inspections of non-complex and complex (depending on progression through the career grade) premises in accordance with fire safety legislationProvide advice and guidance on fire safety and relevant legislation to business owners, internal staff, and the publicPrepare fire safety reports and liaise with other regulatory agenciesWhy NFRS?Agile Working – NFRS has an Agile Working Policy which allows our employees to mix office working with working from home to help provide you with more flexibilityFlexibility – We are family-friendly and are open to considering different working patterns that help you provide a better service to our community while supporting your home life.
