We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Safety Administrator to join the growing Health and Safety team, on a fixed term basis.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Fire Safety Advisor with administrative tasksReceive and respond to internal and external queries, providing advice and resolving both simple and complex issues queriesSupport coordination of Fire Risk AssessmentsMonitor budgets and raise purchase orders for the teamMaintain databasesSupport events and projectsQualificationsExtensive IT skills, including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)Build working relationships within the department, contacts around the University and external suppliersWork independently to resolve complex internal and external queriesProvide and maintain a high level of customer service whilst working to deadlinesAccuracy, reliability and willingness and adaptability to learn new skills and proceduresBenefits27 days annual leave entitlement with an additional 5 University Closure days and Bank HolidaysA benefits package including a contributory pension scheme and the opportunity to take advantage of salary sacrifice optionsCommitment to staff development through training, continued support, and career progression opportunitiesJob DetailsThe post is offered on a fixed term contract until 31st July 2026 on a part‑time basis (29 hours per week).
