We’re looking for a Field Service Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of both service delivery and the development of our talented field engineers in the North of England.This is a dual-role position: 50% delivering high-quality service to customers, and 50% leading, coaching, and managing the field service team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy mentoring others while staying close to the tools, this could be your next big move.What You’ll Be DoingLead and manage a team of field service engineers, ensuring high standards of workmanship, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.Deliver on-site services including installation, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair of water treatment systems (U/F, N/F, RO, chemical dosing, ion exchange, demineralisation, electrical diagnostics, PLC programming).Coach and train engineers, transferring technical knowledge and developing skills in line with our competence matrix.Support field operations, solving technical issues and ensuring commitments to customers are met.Drive team performance, including planning, rota management, job sheet inspections, and site safety audits.Collaborate with sales, supporting business development and technical queries.Champion health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across all field activities.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in field service engineering, ideally within water treatment or similar technical environments.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.Ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical teams.Comfortable working on the tools and managing team operations.Knowledge of RAMS, ISO standards, and safety audits is a plus.Why Join Us?Be part of a supportive senior team with shared ownership of safety, quality, and performance.Enjoy a varied role that blends technical delivery with leadership.Opportunities to grow, influence, and shape the future of our field service operations.Competitive package including company vehicle, tools, and ongoing development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
