Business Development Manager – North of England Position: Business Development Manager – North of England Reports to: UK Sales Manager Location: Sheffield or surrounding areas – hybrid working available Role Overview: The purpose of the role is to grow and develop NAL sales activities in the North of England, collaborating with asset owners, design engineers and contractors to achieve budget and strategic objectives. Key Accountabilities Create strong relationships with asset owners and key influencers, focusing on contractors and designers Manage and achieve sector budget year on year Ensure specification of NAL products on all frameworks, projects and contracts in coordination with the specification team Provide market information feedback to Marketing and Product Development departments Provide sector knowledge and training to customers and the internal organization Develop business and commercial plans aligned to the business strategy Associated Responsibilities Monthly sales reporting Experience with operating company CRM system Other duties as deemed necessary by the Sales Manager Experience and Training Experience in identifying and delivering new business opportunities Understanding of frameworks and contracts Account management experience Seasoned presentation and communication skills Criteria Experience working within a construction site or similar area of expertise Installation training desirable Selling into Local Governments desirable Civil or Electrical infrastructure installations desirable Customer Service NVQ in Construction skills or City & Guilds Certificate desirable Benefits Company pension contribution Range of healthcare options Competitive holidays, including Christmas shutdown Employee Committees for Health & Wellbeing and Inclusion & Diversity Family-friendly policies Career development opportunities across IPE and the wider CRH Group Applications can be submitted to recruitment@cubis-systems.com NAL is an equal opportunity employer.
