The role Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the People Team Administrator is a pivotal member of the Emperor People Team. Providing first-line support to the business, the person in this role ensures smooth execution of day-to-day people processes while also having the opportunity to contribute to varied HR tasks and projects. A proactive, well organised individual with a passion for process improvement and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service, this person can build strong relationships across the business and acts as a dependable and approachable resource for all Emperor partners, playing a key role in the success of the team and the overall employee experience. From benefits administration to payroll, onboarding, offboarding and more, the People Team Administrator is involved in fundamental people processes, whilst also having the opportunity to work alongside the Senior HR Business Partner to assist with employee relations, including absence and performance management, probation periods and induction. Whilst the role is predominantly focused on Operations, there are also ad-hoc opportunities to provide support to our Talent and Learning functions. What you’ll be doing in this role Proactively leading on first-line employee enquiries and operational issues and escalating accordingly. Managing employee records and HRIS updates using BambooHR, with a consistent focus on data integrity. Administering systems including company benefits, intranet, training platforms and more. Supporting with financial administration, including payroll, purchase orders and invoices. Generating reports and maintaining accurate employee data for job changes, salary updates, and contract variations. Managing onboarding, offboarding and induction logistics. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Drafting and maintaining employee policies. Providing ad-hoc support for our Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition teams. What you’ll need to be successful in this role Up to a couple of years of experience as an HR Admin or Coordinator. We're also interested to hear from those who have had an HR internship for 6 months or more. Strong communication skills - you will be communicating with employees at all levels, handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and care. Excellent time-management skills - This role requires balancing multiple responsibilities, all while ensuring that no task falls through the cracks. An open and collaborative individual who is happy to work in a fast-paced role with a broad remit across the team. Exceptional attention to detail - accuracy is crucial in this role as you will be managing sensitive information such as employee contracts and payroll details. Ability to work on-site in London - this role requires working on-site in London 3 days per week, with the option to work remotely on the other days.
