Senior Veterinary Nurse – Dermatology IVC Evidensia UK – Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists, Ringwood, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Overview We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Dermatology Nurse to join our team. This key role supports clinicians in providing high‑quality care for dermatology patients, delivering exceptional client communication and ensuring a smooth, well‑organised service. Responsibilities Support clinicians in the delivery of dermatology patient care. Mentor and support other team members. Assist in patient examinations, investigations and outpatient treatment/consultations for a wide range of dermatological conditions (e.g., chronic otitis, allergic skin disease, endocrinopathies, immune‑mediated and parasitic skin disease, neoplasia). Utilise video‑otoscope and work with specialist‑led advanced anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging teams. Provide effective client communication from the initial consultation through to ongoing care planning. Facilitate the patient journey throughout the large multidisciplinary referral hospital. Qualifications Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in dermatology. Motivated, capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Demonstrates a keen interest in dermatology and strong leadership aptitude. Willingness to develop clinical skills and assist in training colleagues. Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia, blood sampling and IV placement. Working Hours 37.5 hours per week. Monday‑Thursday 08:30‑18:00. One Saturday per four weeks on a rota basis. Salary Competitive base salary up to £34,200 DOE. Benefits 6.6 weeks annual leave inclusive of bank holidays; holiday allowance increases with length of service. Birthday as a paid day off.
