Senior Support Worker – TipTopJob, Walton‑On‑Thames, England An exciting new job opportunity has become available for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Walton‑on‑Thames, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers. A boutique luxury home is purpose‑built, modern facility offering residential and nursing care. It also features a therapy and exercise room and a stunning, octagonal glass public cafe. To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. Key Duties Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals. Contribute to care planning and coach support workers. Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries. Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation. Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care. Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures. Preferred Skills and Experience Proven experience of working in a care setting. A good team player. Good verbal and written communication skills. Have a genuine desire to care for others. Benefits The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £13.60 per hour with an annual salary of £25,459.20 per annum.
