A little bit about the city : Oxford A city full of history and architecture and as just about as British as a UK city can get Oxford is world-renowned for its University, but there is much more to discover here than just its academic history. Deemed one of the UK’s true cycle cities, getting around Oxford by bike is certainly a popular option, encouraging its residents both to get fit and be green Some cultural and historic sites in Oxford include The Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford Castle and Blenheim Palace, among many others. This city has an impressive range of theatres, museums, pubs restaurants and festivals, and with a train ride to London taking under an hour, Oxford is certainly a well-connected city, making it a great place to settle in. Alongside the city centre, Oxford offers beautiful countryside, which is great for walking, cycling and generally winding down from city life. #J-18808-Ljbffr
