Overview This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical or counselling psychologist to join an expanding specialist CAMHS for neurodevelopment assessment/intervention and paediatric psychology. The post holder will, under the supervision of the Lead Clinical Psychologist, provide highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients, and provide support and consultation to non-psychologist colleagues. Outpatient caseload will include both neurodevelopmental and paediatric liaison cases, triage referrals and provide both individual and family intervention. The post holder will carry out cognitive neuropsychological assessments where needed, and contribute to service development. The post holder will have post‑qualification experience to work in this senior role. Responsibilities Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients following supervision of the Lead Clinical Psychologist. Support and consult non-psychologist colleagues. Manage outpatient caseload of neurodevelopmental and paediatric liaison cases, triage referrals, and deliver individual and family interventions. Carry out cognitive neuropsychological assessments where needed and contribute to service development. Contribute to ADHD & Autism assessment pathways; collaborate with other clinical psychologists and supervise an assistant psychologist in family liaison and database maintenance. Carry a caseload of children and young people with neurodevelopmental mental health difficulties and/or chronic or acute medical problems. Eligibility & Requirements Post‑qualification experience and senior role competence. Eligible to work in the United Kingdom or meet criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. Must meet UK Visas and Immigration points‑based system requirements. Ability to undergo remote identity and right‑to‑work verification (as described). Will be subject to a DBS check if the post involves regulated activities. Additional Information Applicants can expect remote pre‑employment checks and verification of right‑to‑work documentation using a certified identity verification service (TrustID).
