There is an exciting opportunity for a senior psychologist in the Neighbourhood Psychology Team (NPT). The team is part of the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) for community mental health ‘Neighbourhood Teams’, based in the vibrant, multicultural boroughs of City & Hackney. NPT offers time‑limited psychological interventions in groups and one‑to‑one settings, to service users with mental health difficulties including trauma, CPTSD, complex emotional needs and disordered eating. The successful candidate will have an interest in population health and be passionate about developing pathways that meet the needs of our populations, including partnership working with local third sector organisations. There are opportunities to develop skills in leadership, offering formulation, consultation and support to the MDT, and developing the clinical pathways in the team. Co‑production is a key part of developing services in ELFT, so the successful post‑holder should have knowledge and experience of this. The post holder will supervise junior staff, which might include a qualified or trainee psychologist, or clinical associate in psychology. The key responsibilities include: Responsibilities Act as a senior applied psychologist/psychological therapist in the neighbourhood MDTs. Undertake specialist psychological assessment of service users, collaboratively developing care plans that take a holistic view of the person. Provide psychological treatment to a caseload at the same time as acting as lead professional to those clients, working closely with other members of the Neighbourhood mental health team. Provide specialist consultation and formulation to the broader staff team within the neighbourhoods MDT on the management of cases. Provide clinical supervision and line management to B7 psychologist and designated junior colleagues, e.g. clinical associate psychologist in training or assistant psychologist, and/or where appropriate trainee clinical/counselling psychologists. Commitment to continuous improvement of the clinical offer, utilising co‑production and partnership working where appropriate. Our mission is to make a positive difference to people’s lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
