Visit our website to find out more: www.rm.com The purpose of this role is to act as the bridge between finance and IT, reporting to our Operations Finance Director and working with the Head of IT. You will help the IT department to deliver its financial goals, including setting budgets, forecasting and project reporting. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments (Finance, IT, HR, Procurement) to deliver world‑class financial insight while meeting tight deadlines. This role would be ideal for a newly or recently qualified accountant looking to take the next step on their Finance Business Partner career. Responsibilities Business partner for central functions within our Corporate Division Simplify finance processes and build new reports to ensure that the heads of the central functions and the Operations Finance Director have quality, insightful data and analysis in a timely manner. Work with the heads of the central functions and colleagues in Procurement and the HR Business Partners to drive business performance. Produce and review monthly reporting packs, including forecasts, P&L reviews, Balanced Scorecard and monthly budget holder performance reviews. Further improve, automate and simplify the production of management information. Lead and carry out monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, liaising with India and IT to enhance models and enable cost‑centre reviews. Support IT business case preparation and capitalisation decisions, producing IT project reporting to review project performance. Experience Qualified accountant Strong in Excel, with good organisational skills and a focus on timely deliverables Highly numerate with an attention to detail and able to convey complex problems in a clear way Positive, enthusiastic influence, driving the business to achieve its goals Understanding of IAS 38 Experience in costs management, preferably with IT or related practice Power BI experience desirable Understanding of a variety of ERPs desirable Willingness to grow and advance into higher responsibilities (not all requirements mandatory at first) Communication and Skills Clear and effective communication with colleagues, clients and stakeholders; good listening skills; adapts style to audience. Problem‑solving: identifies issues and develops effective solutions using logical thinking. Collaboration and teamwork: fosters a positive team environment and actively contributes to company objectives. Attention to detail and accuracy.
