Lead the way with usAt Grove Lodge and Courtyard, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Support Practitioner to join our team and help make a real difference to the lives of our residents. If you’ve worked in care and have previously supported or supervised a team, this could be the perfect role for you.About Grove Lodge And CourtyardOur home provides specialist residential care for adults with a primary mental health diagnosis. With capacity for up to 57 residents across two floors, our service offers:Comfortable lounges and modern bedrooms.Main and skills kitchens to promote independence.A focus on empowering residents to develop daily living skills, supporting people towards more independent futures.What does the role involve?As a Senior Support Practitioner, you’ll balance providing hands-on care with supporting and supervising your team. Your primary focus will be ensuring that every resident receives exceptional, person-centred support while helping your colleagues thrive in their roles.Here’s a snapshot of your key responsibilities:Supporting your team with training and guidance to ensure they excel in their roles.Assisting residents with personal care needs, always upholding dignity, respect, and privacy.Ensuring residents’ care plans are comprehensive, up-to-date, and consistently followed.Dispensing medication accurately and maintaining detailed records.This role requires a mix of practical care and supervisory responsibilities, so you’ll need to feel confident managing multiple tasks while keeping residents’ wellbeing at the forefront.What makes you the ideal candidate?We’re looking for someone who:Has experience working in a care home or similar environment.Has experience supervising and mentoring a team (preferred).Holds a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or is committed to achieving one).Is compassionate, organised and ready to take the next step in their career.Why join us?We value our Senior Support Practitioners and offer a fantastic range of benefits, including:Recognition rewards woth £500 during your first year.Refer a Friend bonus: Earn £1,000 for every successful referral.Fully funded training with opportunities to develop your leadership skills and gain further qualifications.Help with costs for treatments like dental or optical care.Our recruitment processIf you’re ready to step into a senior role and make a real difference at The Grove we’d love to hear from youIf you’re offered a role with us, it will be conditional on some standard checks, like references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
