About the Role As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you'll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training. About Leicester Hospital Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blue print for the wider Hospitals refresh programme. The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 laminar flow theatres, an endoscopy suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X-ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services.
