Theatre Practitioner (Recovery) – ODP/ RGN The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital offers a permanent, full‑time Theatre Practitioner role within Anaesthetics & Recovery. The role includes providing high‑quality care to patients from the anaesthetic to the recovery phase and collaborating closely with consultants, anaesthetists and surgical teams. Key responsibilities: Work with leading consultants and like‑minded professionals. Manage a varied caseload using state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities. Supervise, support and develop junior staff members. Create high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care and experiences. Maintain effective communication with ward colleagues to ensure continuity of care. Deliver high‑quality anaesthetic and recovery care to patients. Collaborate with anaesthetists and surgical teams to prepare and monitor patients pre‑, during, and post‑surgery. Seize opportunities for continuous professional growth. Compensation and hours: Up to £34,500 per annum, depending on experience; 37.5 hours per week, inclusive of weekend work.
