Location : Sines, Portugal (On-site 5x per week)This is an exceptional opportunity for a Commercial Director to join the leadership team delivering Europe’s biggest data centre scheme in Sines, Portugal. This role is fully site-based, 5 days per week (no rotation).This is a flagship, technically complex programme of work that demands world-class commercial oversight and strategic guidance.The RoleYou’ll lead all commercial, cost and procurement functions for this flagship project - ensuring financial control, contractual compliance and value delivery across the full lifecycle. Working closely with project directors, clients and contractors, you’ll play a critical role in keeping the programme on time, on budget and aligned with the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial and cost management on a large-scale data centre projectDevelop and implement commercial and procurement strategiesOversee budgeting, forecasting, benchmarking and financial reportingManage tendering, contract negotiations and contract complianceIdentify and mitigate commercial risksBuild strong client and contractor relationshipsLead and develop commercial teamsEnsure accurate invoicing, payments and financial governanceAbout YouStrong commercial and cost management experience in data centre constructionSkilled across both pre- and post-contract stagesExcellent negotiation, communication and financial management abilityHighly organised, adaptable and collaborativeProficient in MS OfficeFluent EnglishComfortable being site-based in Sines, 5 days a weekQualificationsProfessional membership (RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS) desirableDegree in Engineering, Architecture or Quantity SurveyingWhat’s in it for youRelocation package includedClear career development pathwaysGlobal exposureEmployee support programmesA culture built on trust, innovation and excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
