Leadership & Development Manager

The Role The role exists to support all managers across the business to enhance their leadership capability and deliver exceptional care. Working with the Head of L&D to look at existing opportunities to help deliver the People Plan, the position involves approximately 50% delivery, 25% design & communication, and 25% administration. The role requires being prepared to work all over the UK. Key Responsibilities Proactively produce strategy for leadership development across the business using business scanning tools, research, data and feedback to recommend initiatives and demonstrate ROI. Collaborate with C‑suite leaders to understand the needs of the business. Work with HR Operations to surface needs through the talent process and performance review data. Attend leadership events and training, then integrate learnings into Care UK programmes. Manage the leadership budget. Deliver training at all levels. Conduct regular surveys, gather feedback and redesign offerings accordingly. Ensure maximum attendance of all programmes and eLearning through excellent written and verbal communication. Communicate courses and opportunities to homes to secure maximum attendance at leadership training events. Create content for the eLearning system, including videos, blogs, webinars, and eLearning modules. Source and collaborate with suppliers, continually seeking improvements. Serve as an ambassador for all things leadership, leading strategy, implementation, and change to keep leadership at the top of the agenda. Qualifications Highly experienced facilitator/trainer. Deep understanding of leadership models in practice. Proficient in data processing skills, including identifying trends and patterns and providing actionable recommendations.
