You’ll be the first responder when residents need assistance, providing reassurance, care, and support to help them live safely and confidently at home. This role includes day, afternoon, and sleepover shifts to cover staff leave, including Christmas and other leave periods.What You’ll DoRespond promptly to emergency call activations from residentsProvide first aid and basic medical assistance as requiredSupport residents in maintaining independence and safetyDeliver compassionate, hands-on assistanceMaintain accurate incident and handover documentationWork collaboratively with the Emergency Response TeamEnsure emergency equipment is maintained and ready for usePromote safety, wellbeing, and person-centered careDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat You’ll NeedFlexibility to work on a casual basis, including day, afternoon, and sleepover shifts across a 7-day rosterCertificate III in Health Services Assistance or Individual Support (essential)Experience or knowledge in emergency response, first aid, or similar settingsAbility to remain calm and make quick, confident decisions under pressureStrong communication and teamwork skillsPhysical capability to meet the demands of the roleCurrent First Aid & CPR, Police Check, and a valid Driver’s LicenceApply NowPlease submit your application through our recruitment portal.
