This role is pivotal in fostering a positive and productive work environment that aligns with Viavi's business objectives and values.Job ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth and employee well-being.Oversee and manage all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and oversee the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.Manage and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department.Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication during organizational changes.Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience RequirementsJob QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Extensive progressive HR experience, with significant experience in a leadership or directorial role, preferably within a technology environment.Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into practical HR solutions.Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.VIAVI Solutions is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer – minorities/females/veterans/persons with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
