Human Resources Administrator Based in the Hertfordshire Head Office, the HR Administrator will be a key member of the HR Department and will support the HR Manager in delivering an effective and valuable service across the organisation. With over 300 staff members you need to be dynamic and have the ability to multi task.

Role and Responsibilities
- Provide HR support by updating records whilst always keeping the HR Manager informed and directing queries to them as appropriate.
- Accurate input of data and information to be placed on to the HRIS.
- Updating and maintenance of HRIS and records.
- Running reports from the HR Database and maintaining and updating spreadsheets.
- Collating all paperwork relating to new starters and leavers, including creating employee files.
- Setting up and maintaining personnel files and ensuring that documentation is filed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Archiving, record keeping and collation of documentation.
- Filing of training records / evaluation forms.
- Note taking. **Support with HR projects.**
- Requesting references for new starters prior their start date.
- Providing support for internal audits by checking all visa records/RTW/ documentation is correct and up to date.
- General HR administration: filing, maintaining employee records, photo copying, etc.
- Ensure all practices are maintaining compliance folders, communicating any relevant information which needs to be updated and addressing any utilities which need servicing/renewing.
- Carry out enhanced DBS checks and responsible for ensuring relevant documentation is checked.
- Setting rooms up for training and staff meetings.

Experience requirements:
Worked in an administration role for a minimum of 1 year. Attention to detail is essential. Excellent communication skills are required. Competent IT skills. Flexible attitude to work. Interest in HR or previous experience in a HR role. Understand the importance of confidentiality. Willing to travel to practices within the UK.

Desirable: Worked in a dentistry/health care background is advantageous, however, not essential. Knowledge of HR and current employment legislation.

Responsible to: Human Resources Manager

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm with 1 hour lunch (unpaid) 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.

**Salary**: From £23,500.00 per year
