Location: Farnborough – mainly office based roles 3-4 days per week. Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits. Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday. Join Vodafone Business Security Enhanced and strengthen the cyber security of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure and public sector organisations. What you’ll do The Commercial Support Specialist will be within the Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) Commercial team. This exciting new role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop key commercial skills, experience, and knowledge related to the delivery of managed services to critical government clients. Working alongside experienced Commercial Managers you will gain first-hand experience of in-life contract management, both supplier and customer focus. Other responsibilities include: In-life commercial management – supporting the Commercial Managers with administrative duties related to contractual obligations. Commercial modeling – business case and pricing to ensure profitability of new contracts and any applicable contract variations. Drafting of schedules contained in contracts and variations, in collaboration with commercial managers, legal and account team. Preparation and provision of regular customer-facing reports. Assistance with total project forecasting in collaboration with programme and finance colleagues, to ensure project cost control vs business case expectations. Who you are Previous experience working in a commercial-focused role – Essential Commercial experience in the Defence sector – Essential Experience in Commercial Modelling – Essential Clear verbal and written communication and ability to review contracts and commercial agreements – Essential A high degree of attention to detail Numerical and analytical skills Ability to influence and stakeholder (external and internal facing) Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) – Essential Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
